Robert Parker

"Jacques Prieur's Musigny 2011 shows more red fruit on the nose than on the other Chambolle Amoureuses and Musigny 2011s, which show more blue fruit. It's nicely defined, perhaps a little earthier than its peers, with a hint of meatiness developing in the glass, followed by wild heather and broom. The palate is medium-bodied, with supple, ripe, quite toasty tannins. There's impressive depth here, even if not quite finesse on the finish. Still, this is a very fine wine, and here tasted blind, it outshines some of the biggest names." (Wine Advocate 2014 - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2018 guide) 4*Stars (High-quality producers, the glories of the French vineyard)

About the domain :

Édouard Labruyère's enthusiasm and determination to position this estate as one of the world's great vintages is clear to see. His efforts are evident in the vineyard, which has been organically farmed since 1997, in the cellar, where foudres and demi-muids have made their appearance since 2012, and, crucially, in the glass. With its exceptional range of Grands Crus from 22 hectares of vineyards, including 17 hectares in Côte de Beaune and an exclusive representation of Grands Crus in Côte de Nuits, this estate has all the attributes to join the elite of Burgundy estates.
