"The nose is incredibly aromatic with bright cherry notes to which are added wood spices and roasted orange zest. The palate is lively and fresh, with mineral and brambly notes, supported by excellent acidity. The palate is very dynamic and the varietal typicity is perfect." (Decanter 2020)

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domain rated 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)

About the domain :

More than a novelty, a rebirth. The return of this old house feels good. The man who has revived it is Laurent Delaunay. He is the founder's great-grandson, and has established himself as a benchmark for Languedoc pleasure wines in supermarkets. It's in Burgundy, on his home turf, that he once again displays the full extent of his talent and vision. We particularly recommend the nuits-saint-georges cuvées, vinified with extreme care and attention to tannin extraction, resulting in wines that are voluptuous and tender, yet always upright. The entire range is beyond reproach.
