"Signature of the House
"Based on the 2016 vintage, Billarcart-Salmon's new Brut Rosé is shaping up well, blending notes of red fruits and plums with notions of peach, dried flowers and orange peel. Medium to full-bodied, mellow and elegant, it's bright and charming, with a generous core of fruit, racy acids and fine mousse. Generous and demonstrative, it's already very good today." (Wine Advocate - William Kelley ) All elegance!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 17/20 (Reference wine)
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 5*Stars (Outstanding producers, those who represent the absolute pinnacle of quality in France and the world)
About the wine:
Certainly still impeccable: finely fruited, slender, fresh, digestible and tenderly deep. Great fruit!
About the domain :
Twice a century old, this family-run business from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ gained an international reputation in the 1990s for its airy, refined champagnes, especially its signature rosé. The grapes come mainly from the Épernay area and the Marne valley, particularly the Grand Crus. The company owns very few of its own vineyards (a dozen hectares), but can rely on very high-level supply contracts. The whole range appears refined, favoring harmony over power, with many nuances to be found in each of the numerous cuvées. Today, Billecart is one of the great names in Champagne.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 16.5/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
Another strong House signature, the rosé combines power and delicacy, with a pleasant crunchy fruitiness.
About the domain :
Billecart-Salmon is a rare family-run business in full health. It owes its dazzling success in recent years to wines of the highest quality and a sales policy geared towards the catering trade. An inveterate traveler, the dynamic Alexandre Bader, the company's managing director, has succeeded in establishing the Mareuil-sur-Aÿ-based brand worldwide, with production approaching two million bottles. Now equipped with a new work tool, the company can look to the future with serenity.

About the wine:
The palest of rosés, this is an elegant, structured wine. Its dryness is balanced by fine apple and redcurrant fruit and strong minerality. Fragrant and lightly structured, this fine edition is ready to drink.
