Champagne Chassenay d'Arce
The House of Champagne Chassenay d'Arce was founded in 1956 in Ville-sur-Arce and today includes 130 families and 3 generations of winegrowers, working in a spirit of cooperation, solidarity and knowledge transfer.

The Chassenay d'Arce vineyard extends over 315 hectares through 12 villages in southern Champagne, close to Burgundy. Chassenay d'Arce champagnes reflect their terroir, located in the Côte des Bar region, on Kimmeridgian soil once covered by the sea. Most of the vines planted are Pinot Noir, along with Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Blanc. Chassenay d'Arce 's vineyards have gone through an environmental conversion process and obtained the Vignerons Engagés label in May 2021, which explains why their viticulture is "reasoned".

A lovely vintage for this Chardonnay Brut, whose terroir reveals freshness and complexity. Delicate notes of frangipane and white flowers intermingle with more gourmand nuances of coffee and vanilla. Tasting reveals a perfect balance between delicacy and roundness. The finish is lively, with a pleasant salinity.

"Unusual and remarkable

Pinot Blanc is the only grape variety used to make this cuvée, a specificity of the house. The attack is round and generous, the body fleshy with good volume, counterbalanced by a clean, mineral and saline freshness. Try it with sea bream tartar with exotic fruits...

"A small proportion of this Blanc de Noirs (Pinot Noir) is barrel-aged, blending the 2008 harvest with many earlier years. Ideal for a champagne meal, this charming, ripe, consistent and persistent brut is remarkable for its complexity (acacia, orange, peach, mirabelle plum, honey, fruit paste, vanilla and other spices, coffee)". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins). Perfect for a champagne dinner!

"A racy, refined champagne!

Vintage Brut 2010 presents an expressive, complex and fresh nose, with an elegant bouquet of white and yellow fruit aromas, white flowers and mineral, brioche and toasted notes. On the palate, the wine is fine and precise, with good tension, a delicate texture and a slender structure, for a persistent, fresh finish with a hint of minerality and good length. Enjoy with red tuna tartare or ginger prawns...
