"A Grand Cru at this price is a bargain!"

"Aged 3 years on lees, this Chardonnay appears discreet in its aromatic expression, mineral and buttery. Very fresh, with good length, it offers a chalky side typical of the Côte des Blancs." About the wine:

Aged 3 years on lees, this Chardonnay is discreet in its aromatic expression, mineral and buttery. Very fresh, with good length, it offers a chalky side typical of the Côte des Blancs.

About the domain :

Patrick Le Brun, who had been managing the family vineyard (nearly 7 ha, mostly in the heart of the Côte des Blancs) since 1996, handed it over to his son Gauthier in 2017, who represents the 5th generation on the estate. The estate's cuvées do not undergo malolactic fermentation and are low dosage.

A very pleasant Champagne to drink, with lovely bubbles, lively Chardonnay, freshness and a long finish. Superb value for money.

Flat on the palate, followed by candy-like acidity and fruitiness. The bubbles fade very quickly in the glass. Confusing, but not in a good way.

It says it's extra-brut but it's too much for me and lacks balance. I find it hard to drink.

I opened a bottle of this wine thinking it would be a pleasure for me, but it was a disaster. Not many bubbles and not very pleasant on the palate. I still have two bottles left!!!!!!!

Taken for a family reunion. Everyone agreed that this was an excellent champagne, light and not heady. Fine bubbles for discreet sparkle. a real surprise
