Champagne Alexandre Bonnet

Champagne Alexandre Bonnet
As early as 1934, Lucien Noble cultivated his first vines and passed on his passion from generation to generation until 1970. The winegrowing adventure really began with his daughter and son-in-law René Bonnet, and his grandsons Serge and Alain, the founders of the Alexandre Bonnet Estate.

Owned since 1998 by the Lanson-BCC group, Alexandre Bonnet has been run since August 2019 by Arnaud Fabre, who is committed to perpetuating the collective commitment and development of this exceptional terroir. The identity of this estate is deeply rooted in the history of the Riceys vineyards.

With a terroir dominated by Pinot Noir and benefiting from a very special geology, Domaine Alexandre Bonnet produces 6 different types of wine, including the famous Rosé des Riceys. Their range of champagnes is highly appreciated for its balance, freshness and elegance. Preserving biodiversity has been a core concern for the estate, which has been HVE-certified since 2015.

"The emblematic expression of Alexandre Bonnet's fine, fruity terroir".

"Small oxidative notes evoke almond, undergrowth after rain in an elegant nose. This evolves into a beautifully textured palate, underlined by a toasty frame and accompanied by notes of gingerbread and rapadura. Noble bitters guide through to a lively finish. A champagne of moving balance, without any heaviness". (Gault & Millau 2024).
