RVF
"Superb Vermentino from Corsica, complex and mineral".
"Minerality and a touch of citrus, Vermentinu in its purest expression. The fresh, lively aspect of the grape variety is tactile, there's no wood, the fine bitters are lengthening, this is a sure value from this serious, consistent quality estate. With grilled or fried fish, even raw or marinated, it's an ideal partner for the table" (Le Guide RVF 2025).

Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Yves Leccia, an oenologist involved in the revival and promotion of island wines, set up his own estate in 2005, after running the family business with his sister for some fifteen years. Today, with his wife Sandrine, he manages a 16-hectare vineyard on clay-limestone and schist soils in Poggio-d'Oletta. Certified organic since 2017, it is one of the pillars of the Patrimonio appellation, which is also often recognized for its Muscats.

Rated wine (guide 2025 ) 91/100
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
Minerality and a touch of citrus, Vermentinu in its purest expression. The fresh, lively aspect of the grape variety is tactile, with no wood and fine, lengthening bitters, this is a sure value from this serious, consistent quality estate. With grilled or fried fish, even raw or marinated, it's an ideal partner for the table! Potential five to eight years.
About the domain :
Yves Leccia and his partner Sandrine run a vineyard located mainly on the E Croce and Partinelone plots. The land is ploughed and tilled, and organic fertilizers are used. In recent years, the estate has innovated with new wines such as O Bà, Biancu Marinu and L'Altru Biancu. These carefully-crafted wines remain good ambassadors for Corsican vineyards, but care must be taken not to erase too much of their individuality: some of the wines, more formatted than in the past, give pride of place to technicality.

Note and review by M. LAURENT P. Published on 22/10/2024
I'd give it a fairly low score, being rather disappointed by the tasting compared with the price of this bottle. It's a very honest Corsican wine, but at this price you'll find much more pleasure elsewhere.
