Bodegas Volver
Bodegas Volver owns some of the finest plots in the La Mancha appellation, covering around 100 hectares at an average altitude of 660 meters. The soils are sandy and clayey, and the Tempranillo grape variety is grown in very low yields and harvested by hand.
Bodegas Volver 's other flagship appellation is DO Alicante, where some of the estate's finest cuvées are produced. The 110-hectare vineyard lies southwest of the town of Salinas, between the Sierra de Salinas, Sierra de L'Altet and Sierra de la Sima mountain ranges. Part of the vineyard is certified organic. This is the stronghold of a very southern grape variety, Mourvèdre, grown on very poor, arid soils. The wines produced are full of character and finesse.

This 100% Tempranillo is a superb wine! Deep and powerful, with the typical character of the grape variety, yet very fresh and digestible, making you salivate on the finish. Notes of tobacco, licorice and blackcurrant emanate from the glass and carry through to the palate.
