L'Infernal - Priorat RIU rouge 2018
3.8/5 (4 reviews)
92/100 Robert Parker
"The 2018 RIU comes from a rainier year, somewhat reminiscent of the 2016 in the region. The wine has finesse thanks to a blend of Garnacha, Syrah and Cariñena from granite and slate soils in Torroja. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and aged in well-aged, neutral 500-liter French oak barrels for 12 months. It has no apparent oak taste and is fruity, floral and fresh, with good ripeness at 14% and a juicy palate with lovely balance and some powdery tannins that invite gastronomy." (Wine Advocate 2022)

91/100 Robert Parker
From the purple schist of the Priorat region, this 100% Carignan expresses its finesse and elegance. To fully express its potential, it needs to be decanted and opened at least 2 hours before tasting. Ideal with rack of lamb, roast meats, terrines...
L'Infernal - Aguilera 2011
94/100 Robert Parker
The brainchild of Léo Cuisinier and Lucas Chazallet, this vintage delivers an explosion of flavor and freshness on the nose. Slight floral and gourmand notes. The style of the great Priorats is in the glass. Ample and beautifully balanced. The texture is very fluid and dynamic. Great complex length, Aguilera 2011 is a multi-faceted wine: a sensation of opulence, a slight smokiness bounces back delicately before a powerful but very fresh finish. Great potential.
