95/100 Vinous
"Flor de Pingus 2021 comes from several vineyards in La Horra, Ribera del Duero, and has spent 18 months in French oak barrels. It is purple in color. Complex, subtle aromas include sour cherry and blueberry interwoven with rose, herbs and garrigue. On the palate, it's dry and velvety, with a balanced chalky character, quite intense, not very fresh but very energetic. This is a distinctive and delicious red that reflects a modern approach to Ribera." (Vinous 2023)

93+/100 Robert Parker
"PSI 2021 is 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha from old vines planted on limestone soils, and has been aged for up to 16 months in mostly large French oak barrels. In the glass, it is garnet-red with a slight purple hue. The nose offers notes of blood, sour cherry and blackberry, intermixed with violet and dried flowers, resulting in a complex, layered profile. The palate is dry and velvety. Chalky tannins define a compact palate and persistent fruity and floral flavors. The 2021 is a distinctive Ribera del Duero with excellent nuance and agility." (Vinous 2023)
Dominio de Pingus 2018
100/100 Robert Parker
-
99/100 James Suckling
" ... The wine is subtle and harmonious, elegant and insinuating, with all the components of a very good balance. It's precise and pure; Sisseck is meticulous and meticulous, and the wine shows that precision. It follows the line of the 2016, very good even though it was only bottled a month before tasting." (Wine Advocate 2021)
