Dominio de Pingus - Ribera del Duero Flor de Pingus 2022
94-95/100
Robert Parker
"A delicate, fragrant Tempranillo of incredible elegance, enhanced by Peter Sisseck!"
The nose of the 2022 Flor de Pingus has a peach note (vineyard peach!). It is fragrant, elegant, more fruity, tender, delicate, and ripe without excess (but perhaps the ripest of the 2022s, possibly due to the influence of young vines). The palate is tender, with bright tannins and a rounder mouthfeel. The finish is dry, even a little austere, with subtle chalky notes. Overall, the 2022s performed very well, much better than expected. [...] 2025-2032" (Robert Parker 2024)

About wine:

Overall, the 2022s performed very well, much better than expected. The wine has been blended and clarified and is now in vats awaiting bottling. Bottling is scheduled for June (or late May). They are expecting around 89,000 bottles, slightly less because the young vines suffered more from the heat. 2025-2032
