Benjamin Romeo and his Bodega Contador have become a veritable myth, with his wines twice rated 100/100 by Parker. After completing his studies in oenology, Benjamin Romeo decided to specialize in Bordeaux. He was soon called back to his homeland by the now legendary Artadi bodega, where he worked from 1986 to 2000. The rest is history, Benjamin having created the El Pisón and Pagos Viejos wines and brought Artadi to the pinnacle it has reached.
