Notes : Robert Parker 93/100, Stephen Tanzer 93/100
"The Finca Sobreño Reserva - Seleccion Especiale 2009 is a blend of the estate's best vines (over 50 years old) and is aged half 14 months in new American oak barrels, the rest in aged oak barrels. Its floral bouquet of black fruits, heather and dried violets is well-defined and seductive. The palate is medium-bodied, with a succulent attack of black cherry, balsamic, with a hint of orange zest and clove. Good structure and concentration, with a fresh finish. Very fine and elegant for a Toro red. Drink now through 2019 and beyond." (Wine Advocate Apr. 2013 - Robert Parker)

Enjoyed with tapas, including jamon iberico de bellota. Excellent and well-balanced. A very dark color that reveals beautiful aromas.

Good, but I preferred the more basic and cheap crianza
