"The wine released in 2024 is Pintia 2019, from a very dry year when vinification was gentler and 15% stainless steel was used for aging to retain fruit and freshness. It was fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and oak vats. This is a powerful vintage; the wine is 15% alcohol, round and full-bodied. It's a heady, ripe Pintia. We had to be careful with the timing of the harvest, which was early and fairly rapid. Although the wine is ripe and heady, with notes of grenadine and small ripe berries, it is also exotic and spicy, quite showy, lush and full-bodied, with 2019 tannins. This is a more powerful wine that will require patience." Nose

Intense scents of ripe, juicy fruit, blackberries, dried flowers, cedar and coffee beans, pleasantly mentholated nuances.

Mouth

Lively and opulent, the touch is silky, tannic structure with mache but fine grains, flavours echoing those of the nose, long and concentrated finish, impressive aromatic finesse.

About the wine:

Ripe blackberries, tar, black cherries and black spices. Fine cocoa powder too. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with a saline touch in the middle. Very long and powerful, but expressive and refined. A little richer and more powerful than the 2018, but at the same time elegant and balanced. Vertical, fine-grained tannins. Drink from 2026.
