"This is the estate's second wine, a tiny bit less formal than Barrua. Montessu 2015 is a blend of Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. It is aged in barrels for up to a year. The wine reveals an almost black color with ruby highlights that glow from within. The Cabernet aromas of black fruits, spices, grilled herbs and black olives are instantly recognizable. The wine is structured and soft-textured. It grips the palate with firm intensity."
