Hachette Bières

"A dome of ivory foam, reminiscent of egg whites beaten into snow, overhangs a slightly cloudy, coppery old gold color. The nose is grassy and spicy. On the palate, the immediate acidity contrasts with the round, velvety texture provided by the blend of malts. The taste evolves on grains, cereals, then spices take over again with finesse and elegance. The finish has a spicy bitterness mingled with notes of yellow fruit". (Le Guide Hachette des Bières)

About the wine:

A dome of ivory foam, reminiscent of whipped egg whites, overhangs a slightly cloudy, coppery old gold color. The nose is grassy and spicy. On the palate, the immediate acidity contrasts with the round, velvety texture provided by the blend of malts. The taste evolves on grains, cereals, then spices take over again with finesse and elegance. The finish has a spicy bitterness mixed with notes of yellow fruit.

About the domain :

Daniel Longval, from Quebec, met Fabienne Demierre, from Switzerland, while working as a cheese-maker. They settled at the foot of the cliffs of the Vallée de la Loue. Their beers reflect what they love: spices, warmth, substance, creaminess, creativity and imagination, with labels imbued with Amerindian culture. What all their products have in common is a dense foam, both thick and creamy, which draws a permanent lace pattern on the sides of the glass, as well as a liveliness in the expression of the spices. Beers with a rich, intense character.
