"A must for this Cabardès at an irresistible pleasure price!"

"The must-have of the year in Cabardès, earning its author his first Favorite and top marks. What made it so popular? The "very typical Cabardès" nose, with its accent of fresh black fruit, sprinkled with cocoa and spices, and the charming palate, caressing on the attack, smoothly extracted, full of cherry and enhanced by finely chiselled tannins. It exudes elegance and good taste. Simply perfect. (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

About the domain :

One of the historic estates of the Cabardès, once a dependency of the Abbey of Lagrasse. Since 1986, Anne and Frédéric Maurel have run this vast 110-hectare (organic) estate on the stony plateau of Conques-sur-Orbiel. Originally, it is said, a lucky great-grandfather won it in a game of chance...
