"The 2017 Corbières La Madone is a 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah that was co-fermented and then aged for a year in barrel. Plums and vanilla mark the nose, leading to a full-bodied, creamy wine that's supple to the touch. Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The ideal house for those who want to discover good Languedoc wines faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a winery. They mature their selected cuvées with the winegrowers from whom they buy them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of their origins. A wide gourmet range with many successful wines and a few stunning surprises.
