Les Carlines opens with a nose that's at once wild, animal and floral, and the palate responds with an abundance of fruity flavors dominated by blackcurrant and crushed blueberry. We appreciate the emerging roundness of the tannins and the pretty bitters on the finish. A lovely bottle!

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Domaine rated (2024 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

Mas Haut-Buis is first and foremost an exceptional high-altitude site, nestled some 650 meters above sea level between garrigue, olive and almond trees. The 14 hectares are made up of no fewer than twelve separate plots. Olivier Jeantet, who settled here in 1999, is a self-taught winemaker who quickly grasped the secrets of the trade and the exacting standards required to produce great wines of character, reflecting the tension and uprightness of the Terrasses du Larzac. A heritage of old vines, hard work in the vineyard, ageing in large containers and meticulously thought-out blends have enabled this estate to become one of the appellation's leading names.
