"A great classic that never tires, ideal for lovers of the great wines of Languedoc".
This intense, concentrated cuvée based on Syrah (70%) develops generous aromas of black and red fruits, mixed with spices and woody notes. Rich and full-bodied, this cuvée is the perfect accompaniment to rack of lamb with porcini mushrooms.

About the wine:
It smells of plum jam and tastes of raspberry. Considerable intensity, concentration, sweetness and power - almost more like port than wine. Coffee, dark chocolate, amarena cherries. The tannins are so bright and melted that they seem to have turned into ganache. There's absolutely no restraint in this wine.
James Suckling
Wine rated (guide 2024) 92/100
About the wine:
An intense, dense, textured and concentrated red with aromas of blackberry, bark, dried herbs, grilled meat and spices. Full-bodied, with silky tannins. The creamy texture is very dense. Lots of fruit and spice on the palate, with a lively, energetic finish. For drinking or cellaring.

About the wine:
A little more expensive, the Languedoc Tête De Bélier 2021 is based on syrah, grenache, mourvèdre and carignan, all aged in oak barrels. It clearly brings another level of richness and depth, with impressive nuances of darker raspberry, blackberry, spicy oak, leather and smoke that develop over time in the glass. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has good mid-palate depth, ripe but firmer tannins, remarkable balance and an excellent finish. It needs a year of bottle age, but this is a rock-solid, undeniably successful 2021 that will shine through to 2031.
