"Everything is perfumed and elegant in this gourmet red: the nose of black fruit, redcurrant, spices and licorice, as well as the silky, crisp palate, gently supported by polished tannins that let the ripe, fresh fruit express itself without restraint. A great success, as is often the case with this inspired negociant". (Le Guide Hachette 2023)

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The ideal house for those who want to discover good Languedoc wines faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a winery. They mature their selected cuvées with the winegrowers from whom they buy them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of their origins. A wide gourmet range with many successful wines and a few stunning surprises.

About the domain :
In 1995, oenologist Laurent Calmel teamed up with Jérôme Joseph to found a trading house specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon terroir wines. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the cuvées.
