"Tucade? In dialect, a whim, a whim, and above all, a high-flying red born of mourvèdre and syrah. On the nose, the 12 months in barrel are discreet, giving way to ripe black fruit. The fruit comes through even more generously on the palate, which is full-bodied, licorice-flavored and powerful, with a lovely sweetness that coats fat, coated tannins. Rich, voluptuous, tasty, it can be decanted or left to age". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2024)

About the domain :
Since the 1970s, this certified organic estate has been one of the jewels in the appellation's crown, appearing in the Guide with unfailing regularity. Boasting a magnificent terroir of 70 small schist parcels (58 ha) that sculpt the landscape, today it benefits from the know-how of the younger generation, inherited from grandfather Jean and father Bernard Vidal, both former presidents of the appellation.
