Clos Centeilles - IGP Côtes du Brian Le C blanc 2019
91/100 RVF
"This white combines three forgotten local grape varieties: Ribeyrenc blanc, Ribeyrenc gris and Araignan blanc. The aromatic register focuses on herbal infusions of lemon balm, verbena and lime blossom. Full-bodied on the palate, with a fresh finish and notes of ginger and mint". (La RVF revue May 2024)
Clos Centeilles - IGP Côtes du Brian C de Centeilles blanc 2018
91/100 RVF
"Le Blanc is a delicious blend of three ancient grape varieties: ribeyrenc, ribeyrenc gris, and araignan blanc. It delivers notes of fresh almond and fullness on the palate, with a zesty finish." (Le Guide RVF 2023). The Cyrano of Minervois, all prose and seduction!
Domaine de Cantaussel - Bergerie 2015
4.7/5 (3 reviews)
A blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah planted on the Petit Causse terroir, Bergerie is a fresh, supple red with lots of fruit and hints of Morello cherry. It is only produced in very good years (last vintage: 2010) . An excellent value for money in organic terms!
Calmel & Joseph - Terroirs - Vieux Carignan 2015
3.1/5 (8 reviews)
17/20 Jancis Robinson
Slightly peppery on the nose, Calmel & Joseph's Vieux Carignan is supple on the palate. With notes of ripe black fruit and garrigue, typical of the grape variety, it asserts itself with greediness. Made from century-old Carignan vines, it's an excellent value for money.
Domaine de Cantaussel - Côtes du Brian 2010
3.6/5 (5 reviews)
With its garnet-red hue, this relaxed wine, dominated by Carignan and Grenache, opens with a fairly complex nose, revealing aromas of fruit paste, with a mineral note and crisp tannins on the palate. Very fine work at a very attractive price.
