"The nose is discreet, driven by fruit and licorice. The tannins are supple, and the filigree acidity adds a salivating edge. This precise wine is already excellent, but cellaring it is also an interesting option." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021)

Expert opinion
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2019 guide) 16.5/20 Coup de Coeur
Domaine rated (2024 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
The nose is discreet, driven by fruit and licorice. The tannins are supple, and the underlying acidity lends a salivating quality. This precise wine is already excellent, but cellaring it is also an interesting option.
About the domain :
Rémy Pédréno and his wife Martine have been running this 9-hectare estate on the historic Langlade terroir since 1999. Having previously worked in the northern Rhône region, notably for Domaine Rostaing, this passionate winemaker from Nîmes quickly established himself among the region's greats, producing elegant, taut, airy wines from this marl-limestone terroir that has been renowned for centuries. Aging in tuns and a more precise management of the lees have taken this estate to a new level, and it is now an undisputed benchmark. Jeremy Stevenson joins Martine and Rémy from New Zealand, Alsace, Chile and Oregon.
