You don't need a compass to discover the enticing side of Bermuda. After a sapid, supple attack, this IGP flows smoothly on the palate, with soft, velvety tannins that let the southern character of its juicy, expressive flesh express itself, with flavors of spicy, ripe red fruit, on a fresh, fluid frame. Ample, long-lasting aftertaste enhanced by a hint of spicy pepper. Aged well, it can be kept until at least 2026. A joyful wine, pure pleasure and easy to drink with its 13% throughout the summer, from aperitif to grilled bbq, notably caramelized Aveyron pig ribs, previously marinated in paprika and salted soya, with their pan-fried garlic zucchini in olive oil. Score of 3.9, as a retail price of around €10 would seem more justified.
