Robert Parker

"Tasted in bottle, Les Obriers 2015 is probably the best vintage of this cuvée to date (followed very closely by the 2016). Made from 45% Carignan, 30% Cinsault and Syrah to round it out, it offers the classic, characteristic dry earth flavors I always find in this wine, as well as an abundance of sweet fruit, medium to full-bodied richness, silky tannins that carry through to a superb finish." (Wine Advocate 2017 - Jeb Dunnuck) A gem!

A sunny, full-bodied wine with ripe red fruit and tobacco notes. Remarkable spicy length. Very good R/P. Ideal with barbecued lamb chops.

vintage 2015 tasted on 14/11/2019 A beautifully balanced wine with more finesse than strength, I personally love this style of wine. The quality/price ratio is very favorable in an appellation where wines often exceed 20€.

A simple Languedoc with an original grape variety, but it lacks character. The nose is not very expressive, the palate lacks delicacy and remains a little narrow, the balance is just right but the whole lacks a little definition. To be reviewed

I did not enjoy this wine. Too much sweetness, no tannin, no body. For me it's disappointing.
