An intense, full-bodied wine, delivering all the power of Minervois, in a juicy mouthfeel with silky tannins and just the right balance between richness and acidity. A singular harmony that echoes the surrounding garrigue!

About the domain :

Coming from an illustrious British family - his father, Anthony Eden, was a minister under Winston Churchill before succeeding him as Prime Minister - Robert Eden, after working in numerous vineyards around the world, bought Château Maris in Minervois in 1997. This avant-garde advocate of organic farming and biodynamic viticulture built an old-fashioned cellar of lime and hemp bricks, equipped with ovoid vats in which the wine matures slowly.

Perfect with lamb stew after an hour in the decanter. We'll probably have to wait a little longer.
