A judicious combination of cinsault and carignan produces a sapid, fruity cuvée with flavors of small berries and sweet spices, enriched by notes of tobacco and hay. Smooth tannins and a hint of sweetness. Long, light finish. Meticulous presentation. But what else? Well, on the whole, the "workers" have done a poorer job, as the 2014 vintage is a step back in taste compared to the sunny 2015. What's more, the purchase price is 40% higher (€13.90 vs. €9.90 in September 2019! ). And to top it all off, the wine seems to be in a downward phase... Go figure? Hence a score of 3.4. Nonetheless, this pleasant, easily digestible "vin de copains" was drunk without further ado after 1h decanting at 17°. with Cévennes baby lamb chops with thyme and rosemary, grilled over the embers of the first barbecue of 2021. A treat at 21° under the sun with the whole family!

Everything I love about southern wines: character, chewiness, power and also immense freshness.

A rather sunny wine, nicely made, but I was hoping for a little more concentration.

Very light for a Larzac terrace, but very pleasant.

extra! for all occasions! A well-made wine that can be opened for a barbecue with friends or for Valentine's Day! Open 1 hour beforehand. On the nose, scents of sun-drenched guarrigue and flint, a clear, lively color, a bouquet on the palate of ripe red fruit, tobacco, light and mineral. a marvel. to be drunk within the next 2 years!
