"Beautiful purplish-purple color. Tasty, vigorous nose. Good staying power with a floral top note. Still in its infancy, but this vintage shows the potential to rival or even surpass 2016 in terms of subtlety and sophistication. We feel a real energy, as well as ripe, deliciously sweet fruit [...]. Already admirably persistent. (Jancis Robinson)

I'd love to taste it again once bottled. Already beautifully persistent.

About the wine:
The 2018 Terrasses du Larzac La Pèira is another rich, sexy wine from this team that ranks among the region's finest wines. Ample notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, chocolate chocolate and tapenade define the nose, and it's medium- to full-bodied, with a juicy, round palate round, well-integrated acidity and an excellent finish. Its style is accentuated by pure, ripe the pure, ripe, sexy fruit of the vintage and should drink well for at least 7 to 8 years.
