"Prix Plaisir for this fruity, well-balanced Cabernet Franc, the archetypal easy-drinking wine".

"Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), this well-fruited Anjou is a delight from start to finish. Redcurrants, blackcurrants and plums flow into a full-bodied palate, intense and structured but not harsh, well-balanced, underpinned by beautiful, melted, chalky tannins". (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

About the wine:

Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), this well-fruited Anjou is a delight from start to finish. Redcurrants, blackcurrants and plums flow into a full-bodied palate, intense and structured but not harsh, well-balanced, underpinned by beautiful, melted, chalky tannins.

About the domain :

Managed by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien and Vincent Denis, who arrived in 2003, 2006 and 2009 respectively, this is a family business that dates back to 1920; 5 ha at its origins, 90 ha today. A flagship estate in the Haut-Layon region, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very much at ease with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
