"A cuvée that flirts with tufa and an aromatic palette of rose and blackcurrant. Restrained, the palate displays full fruitiness, underlined by fine tannins. The finish is tight and will require a little patience". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France - Gault Millau). Its minerality is followed by a variety of aromatic nuances, with notes of sweet peppers and candied prunes. A red that offers flavors of wet stone and black pepper on the palate, with fine tannins just waiting to soften...

About the wine:
A cuvée flirting with tufa and an aromatic palette of rose and blackcurrant. The palate is restrained, with full-bodied fruit and fine tannins. The finish is tight and will require a little patience.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (2025 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
Emmanuel Caslot and his sister Laurie continue the work of thirteen generations at this historic Bourgueil estate with love and rigor. Here, Cabernet Franc is gently vinified to express the nuances of the sand, clay and limestone terroirs of the lower, mid and upper slopes. Each label is judiciously dressed in a color that reflects the intensity and complexity of the wine: from bright red for Peu Muleau to deep purple for Grand-Mont. These absolute benchmarks of Bourgueil highlight the fine, cool austerity of Cabernet Franc, while at the same time displaying a magnificent suavity of texture. We salute the bottle ageing in the tuffeau cellars before release.
