"A Unique Rosé

The wine's color is strikingly light, and it's made like a white wine, without any maceration. The slightly buttery nose explodes with complexity. The palate is round and vinous, with a unique persistence. Luscious and exuberant in its youth, it will also be able to refine itself over the years. with amber nuances.

Rated wine (guide 2022) 89/100 (Vintage 2020)

Domaine rated (2025 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the domain :

Benoît joined the family domaine in Bourgueil in 2003 to continue the family adventure initiated by his father Yannick in 1997. The vineyards are divided between Bourgueil (two-thirds) and the neighboring Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellation. You can sense the winemakers' perfectionism and their desire to restore the expression of terroirs through very silky, civilized Cabernet Francs that still retain their bright fruit. The estate has been certified organic since 2009, and each year the wines gain in purity thanks to increasingly accurate vinification (truncated wooden vats, stoneware barrels and jars). The 2022 and 2023 delight us with their frank, clean expression and finesse.

Surprising for a rosé, quite sweet and not too acidic. Worth a try.

A very light color with a nose of white fruit. Creamy on the palate. Slightly high q/p ratio.
