"Cote 50 is much juicier and built by salivating tannins, on a very digestible and balanced finish." (Le Guide RVF 2023). Cote 50, the latest edition of La Coudraye, shines by its consistency, vintage after vintage. A consistently expressive Bourgueil, with delicate, slightly spicy notes of pomegranate and cranberry. A fresh, fruity wine, both crisp and delicious.

About the domain :
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2023 guide) 89/100
Domaine rated (2025 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
At 12.5° alcohol, Cote 50 is much juicier, built by salivating tannins, with a very digestible, well-balanced finish.
About the domain :
Benoît joined the family domaine in Bourgueil in 2003 to continue the family adventure initiated by his father Yannick in 1997. The vineyards are divided between Bourgueil (two-thirds) and the neighboring Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellation. You can sense the winemakers' perfectionism and their desire to restore the expression of terroirs through very silky, civilized Cabernet Francs that still retain their bright fruit. The estate has been certified organic since 2009, and each year the wines gain in purity thanks to increasingly accurate vinification (truncated wooden vats, stoneware barrels and jars). The 2022 and 2023 delight us with their frank, clean expression and finesse.
