"A very nice surprise for this sparkling wine made with the endemic Saint-Pourçain grape variety, 100% Tressaillier".

"You can't resist its aromas of preserved lemon and citron, and its fine, dynamic bubbles. Dry in style, it's ideal as an aperitif, with fresh cheeses or seafood. A great success. (La Revue du Vin de France May 2024) A unique experience with this non-dosed sparkling wine, marking the authenticity of the grape variety.

About the domain :

This 16-hectare family estate, located at the foot of a small chapel and crossed by the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, was created in 1989 by Odile and Olivier Teissèdre, who delivered their grapes to the Cave Coopérative. Since 2011 and the creation of the winery, their son Jean has been at the helm. Organic certification, with a focus on biodynamics, was acquired in 2019.

Domaine rated (guide 2024) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

In a short space of time, Jean Teissèdre has established himself as the embodiment of Saint-Pourçain's revival. In 2011, he took over the family vineyards that supplied the cooperative winery. His precise, edgy style is evident in both his reds (pinot noir and gamay) and whites (chardonnay and tressallier, an old local variety to which he has given a new lease of life). The salinity of the whites and the finesse of the reds are refined with each vintage, thanks to increasingly precise viticulture and vinification.
