Domaine des Bérioles
Visit Bérioles estate is a new face in the Saint-Pourçain appellation. The turning point for this 15-hectare family estate came in 2011, when Jean Teissèdre joined his parents Odile and Olivier Teissèdre in creating a new winery in an old Bourbonnais building and starting to sell bottled wine. Passionate about viticulture and rich in experience, Jean is now surrounded by his sister Sophie and her husband Jérôme Roux. Le Bérioles estate is now certified organic and has turned to biodynamic farming.

Visit Bérioles estate makes its mark on this small Loire appellation in its style: precise, taut wines with remarkable finesse. In the whites, Tressallier, an autochthonous grape variety replanted a few years ago, brings real originality and diversity to the region's traditional Chardonnay. Red wines are made with Pinot noir and Gamay.

"A very nice surprise for this sparkling wine made with the endemic Saint-Pourçain grape variety, 100% Tressaillier".

"You can't resist its aromas of preserved lemon and citron, and its fine, dynamic bubbles. Dry in style, it's ideal as an aperitif, with fresh cheeses or seafood. A great success. (La Revue du Vin de France May 2024) A unique experience with this non-dosed sparkling wine, marking the authenticity of the grape variety.

"A superb, tasty, gourmet cuvée, surprisingly well-structured, marked by silky tannins".

Produced from granitic soils and aged in truncated wooden vats, this cuvée expresses gourmandise, freshness and roundness. A delightful wine to accompany grilled red meats, charcuterie platters and offal.

"Native grape variety

In search of discovery and emotion, opt for this old-fashioned white! A truly original 100% Tréssallier, a native grape variety replanted by the Teissèdre family. This white wine exudes a unique energy. The lemony, floral nose is quite delicate, while the palate expresses itself with wild vivacity. An original cuvée that's both gourmand and elegant, leaving us with a feeling of coming back for more!
