Les Demoiselles Tatin - Reuilly blanc 2023
Médaille d'or
Concours des Ligers
Médaille d'Or
Concours Paris
"A delicate wine with an airy character, a superb Reuilly perfect for an aperitif."
This white wine comes from vines planted on the sandy gravel soils of the Lignis hillside, but also from two other terroirs that add complexity and variety to the aromatic palette. The result is a wine that combines freshness and intensity, with light notes of citrus and white flowers on the nose. On the palate, it is a dry, fresh, and "chiseled" wine that is highly aromatic.

Bettane & Desseauve
Winery rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, consistent with what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
Jean Tatin, the memory of Quincy, will enthusiastically tell you all about his terroirs. His daughter Maroussia joined him in 2010 and is gradually bringing her personal vision to the estate's wines, which remain simple and well-made. The vineyard covers 25 hectares in Quincy, on the slopes of the Cher, and since 2003, also 8 hectares in Reuilly on the slopes of the Arnon. The low prices and warm welcome are definite assets, and we would recommend the single-vineyard whites from Quincy.

About the estate:
Jean Tatin, supported by his wife Chantal Wilk, runs this estate, which has been owned by his mother's family since 1873. Based in Brinay, he harvested his first grapes here in the 1950s. Maroussia, the youngest of his three daughters, has taken over the business, which is complemented by Les Ballandors in the Quincy appellation.
Concours Général Agricole de Paris
Rated wine (2023 guide) Gold Medal (Paris Agricultural Competition)
About wine:
Aroma of toasted brioche, round and full-bodied on the palate.
Concours des Ligers - Vins du Val de Loire
Rated wine (2024 guide) Gold medal (Loire Valley wines)
About wine:
The bright, luminous pale golden yellow color opens up to an appealing nose that combines floral aromas with ripe fruit (mango, grapefruit). The supple attack on the palate offers a fleshy texture, lightness, an airy character, elegance, good balance with freshness, as well as extraordinarily fruity aromas (passion fruit, lychee) that linger in a racy, long finish. A superb Reuilly!
