Domaine noté (guide 2024) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
This 16-hectare family estate, located at the foot of a small chapel and crossed by the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, was created in 1989 by Odile and Olivier Teissèdre, who delivered their grapes to the Cave Coopérative. Since 2011 and the creation of the winery, their son Jean has been at the helm. Organic certification, with a focus on biodynamics, was acquired in 2019.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated wine (guide 2023) 90/100 (Vintage 2020)
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
In a short space of time, Jean Teissèdre has established himself as the embodiment of Saint-Pourçain's revival. In 2011, he took over the family vineyards that supplied the cooperative winery. His precise, edgy style is evident in both his reds (pinot noir and gamay) and whites (chardonnay and tressallier, an old local grape to which he has given a new lease of life). The salinity of the whites and the finesse of the reds are refined with each vintage, thanks to increasingly precise viticulture and vinification.
