Vin noté (guide 2023) 93/100

About the wine :

Richly structured and dense, the wine is balanced with tannins already integrated with black fruits. This wine, with its acidity and mineral texture, will age well. Drink from 2026.

Vin noté (guide 2024) 17+/20

About the wine :

Very dark color with a purplish edge, no sign of color evolution. An explosion of black fruit, blackberry and damon aromas, but with no obvious sweetness, i.e. with the dark, rocky, savory character of the Douro. Chewy but not aggressive tannins, in the process of being resolved. If you open this wine now, you'll have to drink it with a meal - though in fact, it will probably always be a meal wine. Touriga shows itself not only in color but also in a floral note. The tannins are compact and balanced, but would need another year in bottle to blossom. Long, finely textured finish with a fresh aftertaste accentuated by the tannins, or perhaps the reverse. 2025-2031
