"A southern white with a refreshing finish on notes of aniseed and white peach!"
Its aromatic palette features notes of white peach and star anise. The Bastide Blanche white reveals itself to be generous and greedy on the palate, carried by a dense fatness and beautiful bitters and a saline finish. Perfect balance!

Domaine la Bastide Blanche
Bandol
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated domain (2022 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production that sets the standard in its sector)
About the domain :
The estate is run by Michel Bronzo, supported by Stéphane Bourret, technical director and fine wine taster. In just a few years, the estate has come very close to the appellation's historic leaders. The consistency and intensity of its wines is the result of hard work, from the vine to the cellar, combined with the right understanding of the terroir. Bastide Blanche is planted on red clay soils for the fontanéou cuvée, and stony clay for the estagnol cuvée. The wines have a well-established, earthy character.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated domain (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (Wines from this producer regularly win awards in the guide)
About the domain :
A benchmark estate, created in 1972 by Baptistin Bronzo and his son Michel from 10 ha of vines. Enlarged and entirely restructured, the vineyard now covers 48 ha, terraced at the foot of Le Castellet and cultivated biodynamically. The Bronzo family has also leased the Châteaux des Baumelles (10 ha in Saint-Cyr) and du Castillon (8 ha in Le Castellet).

Vin noté (guide 2025) 91/100 (Millésime 2022)
Rated domain (2022 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
This estate, bought in 1973 by Louis and Michel Bronzo, produces serious wines in all three colors, combining power and finesse. The 47-hectare vineyard, mainly planted in terraces, covers the geological diversity of the Bandol terroir. Stéphane Bourret, in charge of vinification, produces muscular reds that are more earthy than maritime, like the two great cuvées: Fontanéou (4,000 bottles a year), born of red clay terroirs, facing due east at La Cadière-d'Azur, from a blend of mourvèdre and grenache, is racy; Estagnol (5,000 bottles a year), comes from clay-limestone soils mixed with gravelly areas, and offers very ripe, opulent substance. Made mainly from clairette and ugni blanc, the white is without doubt the most consistent and harmonious of the appellation. The old vintages available for sale enable you to benefit from the undeniable potential of the domaine's wines.
