Château Vannières
Château Vannières, located between the village of La Cadière d'Azur and Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, faces due south and west, and is protected to the north by the Sainte Baume massif. To the east of the property lies the village of Le Castellet. The Château Vannières estate covers 47 hectares, 33 of which are dedicated to vines.

This Provence vineyard is planted with the traditional Bandol grape varieties: Mourvèdre , Grenache and Cinsault for the red and rosé, Clairette and Rolle for the white, on marl and limestone soils. The vineyard is run in the purest Bandol winegrowing tradition, with the vines being hoed, unhoed and scratched to aerate the soil and prevent weeds from growing. At Château Vannières, harvesting is exclusively manual, and each grape variety from each plot is vinified separately. The wines are traditionally aged in oak tuns and barrels for the reds, and in stainless steel tanks for the rosés and whites. A meticulous and rigorous approach that ranks Château Vannières wines among the best in the appellation.

"Red with character

Vannières rouge 2020 presents a nose of black fruit, blackcurrant and blueberry, enhanced by pepper and spice fragrances. After opening, ripe olive and dried apricot notes are added. The palate is complex and velvety, with silky tannins and a long, persistent finish. Forget about cellaring it for a few years before enjoying it... with garlic lamb, for example!

The racy style of Château Vannières wines can be found in this cuvée. The blend of Grenache with Mourvèdre and Syrah makes Héritage more accessible to the palate. The palate is marked by lovely red fruit notes, enhanced by fine, elegant spicy touches. A pleasure cuvée!
