Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
Planted in 1980 and purchased in 2010 by Caroline and Philippe Chauvin, this 15-hectare estate, eight of which are in Bandol, is set on a hillside and is organized around terraces. Facing north, down a fairly steep slope, the vineyard is in the process of rising from its ashes. With the construction of a beautiful winery, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and the opening of a farm inn offering a wide range of products from their own production, the estate takes the notion of hospitality and terroir to heart.
