Mas de la Dame
Today, Mas de la Dame is run by Caroline Missoffe and Anne Poniatowski, the great-granddaughters of Auguste Faye, who bought the property at first sight in 1903. Located on the southern slopes of the Alpilles, at the foot of the mythical village of Les Baux de Provence, the Mas de la Dame estate covers 300 hectares, including 57 hectares of vines and 28 of olive groves.

Mas de la Dame uses organic farming methods and undergoes annual inspections by Qualité France. The soil is worked mechanically, and weedkillers and pesticides are banned. All cultivation practices are also in line with the Charte Nutrition Méditerranéenne en Provence set up by the Chambre Départementale d'Agriculture. Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Carignan are used to make red and rosé wines, while Rolle, Clairette and Sémillon are used for white wines. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the average yield at Mas de la Dame does not exceed 35 hectoliters per hectare.

New vintage, 2006 rated: Gault Millau 17/20, RVF 14/20
Le Coin Caché is one of the oldest plots on the estate. Isolated at the foot of the hill and lost in the garrigue, it produces a high-quality Grenache, harvested at the very limit of over-ripeness. Both fat and elegant, fine and powerful, Coin Caché has a style all its own, and a highly original expression of strawberry soup, cherries in brandy and prunes. A confidential production of just 5000 bottles. A great Provence wine!

Mas de la Dame - La Stèle Rouge 2005

Notes : Gault Millau 16/20, RVF 14/20
La Stèle Rouge is made from old Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon vines, revealing a beautiful spicy, mineral nose with notes of ripe fruit, intense licorice and cocoa, which will improve for a good ten years. A must-try!

With its freshness and liveliness, La Stèle Blanc is very southern. It's a very aromatic dry wine, full of finesse, developing aromas of peach, apricot, aniseed and rosemary. A top-quality Vin de Pays to be discovered without delay!
