"The nose is an aromatic complex of ripe red and black berries, sprinkled with spices and empyreumatic fragrances. On the palate, density and a lovely tannic structure enable the wine to achieve harmony and fullness. Long, fruity, liquorice finish". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2014 - Gault Millau)

Expert opinion

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated 16/20 (Very good wine)

Domaine rated (2015 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the wine:

A great deal of precision and finesse in production and ageing, a very round and tasty wine, very consensual.

About the domain :

Domaine Dalmeran, in the heart of Les Baux in Provence, also has a lovely vineyard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and offers a remarkable range of wines with strong personalities that deserve to be better known. The Joyce family takes great care over viticulture and vinification, and has been particularly successful with their 2011s.

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Wine rated (2014 guide) 15/20 (Very good)

About the wine:

The nose is an aromatic complex of ripe red and black berries, sprinkled with spices and empyreumatic fragrances. On the palate, density and a lovely tannic structure enable the wine to achieve harmony and fullness. Long, fruity, licorice-like finish.

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

Rated (2012 guide) 92/100 (Outstanding wine)

About the wine:

Primarily a blend of Grenache with Mourvèdre and Cinsault, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition presents a classic Provencal nose with notes of roasted herbs, kirsch, lavender, undergrowth and pinewood. The structure is impressive and concentrated, with an intense ruby-violet color.
