Domaine Pichat
Vineyard owner for several generations, the Domaine Pichat was farming 2 hectares without producing its own wine, before offering a complete range of wines.

Domaine Pichat began marketing its production from the 2000 vintage with 900 bottles. Today, it sells over 25,000 bottles from 6 hectares. The domaine offers a range of seven cuvées in the Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Collines Rhodaniennes appellations.

In the cellar, Domaine Pichat combines the old with the new. In recent years, it has equipped itself with thermo-regulated stainless steel vats for vinification. Most of the wine is aged in 400-liter barrels, which are renewed at different rates depending on the cuvée.

"A Syrah with bouquet notes, spicy and sappy".

"A haute-couture wine, this pure Syrah from schist, aged 9 months in barrels, seduces with its complex nose of cooked blackberry and clove, mingled with notes of undergrowth showing the beginnings of evolution. With controlled power, underlined by fine acidity, the palate impresses with its nervous chewiness and distinguished woodiness, releasing warm cocoa notes on the finish". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

"An exceptional cuvée that needs time to reveal its full potential".

"The 2021 vintage was awarded three stars, and the 2022 adds a further Favorite to the already impressive list of awards for this cuvée from the schist terroirs of the Champon, Plomb and Grandes Places lieux-dits. The jury loved its bewitching, complex bouquet of fresh raspberry, bramble and paprika, crowned by the elegant roasted notes of aging in new barrels (30% of the wine). As for the palate, full, dense and greedy, framed by powerful tannins with a tactile grain, it just needs to soften in the cellar". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)
