"A Syrah with bouquet, spicy, and sappy notes"

"A haute couture wine with this pure Syrah from schist soils, aged for nine months in barrels, which seduces with its complex nose of cooked blackberry and clove, mingled with notes of undergrowth hinting at the beginnings of evolution. Full of controlled power, underscored by a fine acidity, the palate impresses with its beautiful, lively texture and distinguished oakiness, which releases warm notes of cocoa on the finish." About wine:

About the estate:

After studying in Beaune, then gaining experience in the United States and in the Bordeaux region, on his wife's estate (Ch. Filliol), Stéphane Pichat returned to his homeland to breathe new life into this old property, founded by his great-grandparents. Settling there in 2000, he began bottling wines and, from 5 hectares in Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu, produced wines of consistently impeccable quality.
