"Mosaic of Saint Roman de Malegarde's terroirs

"As its name suggests, this cuvée is made from several plots in the different soil types of Vaison-la-Romaine, combining Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. This ambitious cuvée charms with its bouquet of ink, ripe cherry, roasted coffee and Zan. The palate, too, impresses with its unbridled expression of peppery black fruit, velvety body framed by sappy tannins and fine, myrtle-accented bitterness. A real treat. (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

About the wine:

As its name suggests, this cuvée is made from several parcels of Vaison-la-Romaine's different soil types, combining Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. This ambitious cuvée charms with its bouquet of ink, ripe cherry, roasted coffee and Zan. The palate, too, impresses with its unbridled expression of peppery black fruit, velvety body framed by sappy tannins and fine, myrtle-accented bitterness. A real treat.

About the domain :

An estate founded after the Second World War by Charles Long. His grandsons, Bruno and Daniel, who founded the winery in 1997, now manage an 80-hectare vineyard certified organic, supported by Daniel's son Guillaume. Their wines often feature prominently in the Guide.

About the wine:

Mozaik 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Vaison-La-Romaine is composed of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Carignan. Black raspberries, Provençal garrigue and hints of spring flowers define this classic, medium-bodied, balanced and elegant Southern Rhône. It has plenty of character and the finer, more elegant style we prefer at this address.
