"Lots of fruit and lamb's lettuce for this great Luberon wine."

This vintage opens with aromas of redcurrant and black cherry before giving way to a full-bodied palate with mellow tannins. It is perfectly balanced with a long finish.

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Marrenon is one of France's most sophisticated cooperatives. It brings together nine wineries, no less than 7,600 hectares of vineyards, and has bottled more than 85% of the Luberon's annual production for 40 years. This is a remarkable feat in terms of quality, as evidenced by a very diverse and comprehensive range of wines. These wines are deliciously fruity, without losing sight of their terroir of origin.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100

About wine:

Thyme, hazelnut, black plum, cedar, and a hint of graphite introduce the Luberon Grand Marrenon 2022, a full-bodied and refined red that strikes a remarkable balance between concentration and freshness. Although it exceeds 15% alcohol, the 2022 has enough acidity to envelop itself in an elegant whole with a homogeneous texture. It finishes with a sapid and energetic finish.
