Domaine Pierre & Jérôme Coursodon
Domaine Coursodon produces Saint-Joseph reds and whites exclusively, and covers 15 hectares: 13 ha for red wines (exclusively Syrah) and 2 ha for white wines (Marsanne and Roussanne). Most of the vines are located in Mauves, the birthplace of Saint-Joseph, on granite soil, a favored terroir for Syrah. The rest of Domaine Coursodon is spread over the communes of Glun, Tournon and Saint-Jean-de-Muzols.

Pierre Coursodon and his son Jérôme run the Domaine Coursodon with an integrated approach to viticulture, manual harvesting and precise vinification adapted to each terroir. A benchmark in the appellation!

"In a word, Paradise!"

Paradis Saint-Pierre has an attractive golden color with brilliant highlights. On the nose, a hint of honey emerges, followed by a round, full-bodied palate, complemented by a sensation of freshness thanks to the minerality of the parent rock. The finish reveals roasted almond and hazelnut notes. A real marvel!

"A brilliant Syrah, always perfectly successful!"

"A touch of leather lends extra complexity to a nose of tangy red berries and violet candy. Firm and structured, the palate is enveloped in a pleasant sweetness, framed by tannins that are present but smooth and finely cocoaed". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

"Northern Rhône fans have found their favorite classic!

"The estate's unfailing consistency has produced the best Saint-Joseph of the year, from a steep, south-facing parcel of very granitic soil. Flattering and complex, the nose combines fresh scents of peony and blueberry with warmer notes of kirsch cherry and sweet spices (cinnamon, white pepper). The ample, generous and caressing palate, endowed with silky tannins, reproduces this gentle spicy warmth and unfolds a long finish with a licorice bitterness that makes you want to have more. Irresistible now, this great bottle of southern charm has a bright future ahead of it". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

"Looking for a Saint-Joseph to cellar? We've found the Gem you need!"

"Well-dosed oak, with enough fresh, juicy dark fruit underneath to cope, but give it time as the barrel work is generous. Soft, sweet and luxurious, with fruit like plum and blackberry, no excess alcohol, just a rich feel. A successful wine in a woody style". (Decanter 2023)

"A fresh, mineral Marsanne with a veil of fat, ideal with a seafood platter!"

In a word: harmony! This Marsanne is both full-bodied, with typical aromas of caramel and white flowers, and remarkably fresh. The fine, silky finish goes on and on, much to our delight.

From the granite soils of the northern Rhône Valley, this blend of Viognier and Roussanne produces a wine with aromas of white flowers and citrus fruit, and a lovely mineral tension. Balance and precision.

"New vintage!"

From the poor, shallow soils east of Mauves, Rose & Mauve is a great Syrah rosé from granite soil. Surprisingly well-balanced and pleasurable, it goes perfectly with salmon en papillote or a four-season pizza.

With its deep purple color, Le Paradis Saint Pierre offers a nose of red fruits, black olives and spices. On the palate, the wine is fleshy, complex and concentrated. The raw material is ripe and concentrated. It's the perfect marriage of terroir and grape variety, giving a wine with the wild side typical of the Saint-Joseph appellation.
