Robert Parker
"La Clapière 2013 is a traditional blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, made mainly in vats, and 10% in barrels. It presents elegant notes of black fruits, violets and wild herbs, which are matched by a round, nicely concentrated (especially for this vintage) and balanced palate. In a vintage where most struggled to soften the tannins, this estate succeeded admirably." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Jeb Dunnuck)

Black fruit on the nose. Long, supple palate. A techno wine with a charming side.

I was expecting a denser wine on the palate. At 13.5 euros, I'm a little disappointed.
