"Tension and freshness are the watchwords of this vintage".
"Beautifully aromatic, quite southern with white peach aromas as well as notes of anise and fennel. A fine compromise between freshness and maturity. Open and approachable on the palate, with a certain roundness but no softness. A hint more intense on the palate than in the past". (Le Guide RVF 2025)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
This three-generation family-run business produces a wide range of well-structured wines on some 70 hectares of land, in a modern, ambitious style that makes it one of Ventoux's "must-haves". Today managed by Frédéric and Alexandre Chaudière, the vineyard features nine grape varieties grown on gravelly clay-limestone slopes at an altitude of 300 meters. The wines are vinified with tact.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2023) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Acquired in 1970 by Odette and René Bastide, this vast 100-hectare estate, with its consistent quality, has been run since 2003 by the third generation (Frédéric and Alexandre Chaudière). The entire vineyard is certified organic and in the process of being converted to biodynamic viticulture.

Domaine noté (guide 2023) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
Beautifully aromatic, rather southern, with white peach aromas and notes of anise and fennel. A fine compromise between freshness and maturity. Open and approachable on the palate, with a certain roundness but no softness. A touch more intense on the palate than in the past.
About the domain :
he story of this estate began in the 1970s, when the Chaudière grandparents restored the château and part of the vineyard. Paul and Edith then provided the impetus by leaving the cooperative and favoring terroir selection. Since 2000, their children Frédéric and Alexandre have overseen the destiny of this vast vineyard. We have been seduced by the stylistic shift in the wines: they have really gained in finesse and sapidity, and represent the freshness of the terroir with dignity.
